Cat, box, cat, box, cat, box, cat, box, cat, box, cat, box! Work those gears, yeah!3141 AD, Earth Date: While on an expidition, a group of Transformers belonging to the League Of Non Aligned Cybertronians stop by a vast junk depot in the Yukari System. While sifting through, a small (by Cybertronian standards), old, robot cat is uncovered from a vast junk depot by the LONAC member Shadowpaw. By the current year's standards, it is extremely primitive in design, build and function. While inspecting the rather empty and unimpressive insides of little more than a small petrol motor, aging wires and some simplistic gears, Shadowpaw discovers a tiny note. The note is from the robot's creator, a Henry Karlslington, and goes on to briefly explain that it was made in 1984 when Transformers first appeared on Earth, as a side project/hobby when robots suddenly bcome a popular topic. Initially, Shadowpaw had dropped it and continued sifting through the junkpiles. For whatever reason though, she found herself with an odd little fascination for the ancient robot, and decided to take it back to Perihelion, LONAC's homeworld for almost a thousand years.

You think of one this time.

The robot barely resembled a cat, let alone any other animal. It was powered by fossil fuel, specifically the petrol motor from a something called an edging trimmer,  and was in very old and bad condition. It also appeared to operate via remote control, again, according to the note that was inside. Shadowpaw set about making some modifications to the robot, albeit slight ones, as she wanted to keep the overall make and appearance unchanged as she had come to like the quirky nature of its make. Firstly, she removed the remote control elements in favor of giving it indepentant movement. Small sensors were added so that it would not walk straight into things, and altered the front legs to be capable of allowing directional changes when walking. Basic response protocol software was added, so it could respond to Shadowpaw's commands. Next, she converted it so that it could transform. An extremely simple form, primarily used to shut down the robot, storage, or shift it from one place to another easier. Shadowpaw also removed the petrol motor and replaced it with a small electrical conductor powered by energon. The final touch was a small speaker placed inside the mouth of the robot hooked up to a small audio player containing a silngle sound file, a recording of a cat's meow, set to play randomly throughout the day. Once the modifications had been completed, Shadowpaw named the robot Dittio, and refers to it as a she. Dittio's new role was now that of Shadowpaw's pet. Shadowpaw herself is surprised just how much she loves the primitive thing. Almost no one in LONAC understand why she wants it at all.

Are you aware Dittio has four legs?

Bet you're still thinking dirty.Thought so.3144 AD, Earth Date: A group of LONAC members are on Cybertron to set up a hypernet node for anti-establishment types as well as for other assorted matters. Shadowpaw is among them, and has brought Dittio along with her. During this time, war breaks out between the Maximals and Predacons and is rapidly sweeping across the planet. In the first moments of the conflict, many ships in orbit are obliterated, including LONACs, leaving a great deal of them stranded and spread across the planet. LONAC commander, Waitstate, sends out a wide beam transmission to all his people, telling them to find a way off Cybertron by any means possible and get back to Perihelion as soon as they can. Shadowpaw, with Dittio, manages to escape Cybertron with a few of her comrades by stealing a Maximal cargo vessel, the Star Ranger. While they focus on trying to get past Predacon assault craft, they were suddenly flung into transwarp, arriving on ancient Earth, right in the middle of a time storm.

After a forced landing, LONAC found themselves in the Beast Wars. Shadowpaw, among others, went missing during planetfall. While the Maximals and Predacons of the Beast Wars were free of energon radiation, the area where LONAC landed in was still rich with it. Dittio, oblivious to the situation, and being so small, was quickly taken down by an energon surge. Coming to the conclusion that organic protection from the energon was needed, LONAC remodelled their bodies, taking on beast forms. Knowing how much Shadowpaw loved her pet, Restore made sure that Dittio was given a beast form as well, and would look after her until Shadowpaw was found. Dittio had now became an very advanced piece of hardware. With the beast form adaptation, she is every bit, and more, advanced as Earth's leading AI pets. Her beast form is that of a siamese cat, and still retains a robot cat form. After initial reforming, Restore also upgraded her, deciding that  LONAC could certainly find some sort of use out of her. Now she is fitted with defensive devices, spy cameras, friend or foe programming and much greater response protocol to mention just a few.

Despite the major upgrade, she is still lacking greatly in intelligence. Is often seen more as comic, morale uplifting in value to LONAC rather than her espionage capability. She still understands only comparitivly basic commands, but a far wider variety of them. Sadly, Shadowpaw had been twisted by Megatron, and was now a Predacon. Even with her friend or foe program installed, Dittio can sometimes appear to be confused when she spots Shadowpaw. A number fo the LONAC crew find this odd, as she is really just a clever AI, who wouldn't really have been able to tell the difference between one bot from another until her beast adaptation and upgrade anyway.

Sorry Dittio, your 'Hunky Cat of the Week' subscription has been cancelled. Bad kitty.Dittio is a bit of a nutcase, and LONAC love her for it. Well, except maybe Ruse.
